Leading Healthcare Tech firm HMS teams up with Blockchain startup Solve.Care

Major wellness information technology supplier for its United States authorities, HMS Technologies Inc. (HMS) has partnered with blockchain startup Solve.Care. The development was announced in a press release shared on April 22.

As part of this cooperation, HMS will allegedly integrate Solve.Care's blockchain stage in their national health information technology (HIT) initiatives in an attempt to decrease authorities health expenses and enhance interoperability and availability.

Bill Kirkpatrick, CEO of HMS, stated that the partnership will “enable disparate HIT applications to share secured health data via patient authorized access using unsecured Internet connectivity, improving care coordination while enhancing digital healthcare profiles and streamlining access to virtual healthcare services.”

Last month, Solve.Care partnered using ridesharing program Lyft into tokenizing healthcare-related transport agreements. The partnership with Lyft will supposedly allow Solve.Care consumers to program Lyft rides to doctors' hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies using automatic payments utilizing native utility token SOLVE by using their Solve.Care electronic pockets.

The medical market has been embracing blockchain technology planning to boost sharing, assessing, or confirming individual information and distribution chains. Lately, Portland State University investigators made a blockchain protocol to stop bogus pharmaceuticals from filling the marketplace. The suggested alternative represents a blockchain-based series of data, with just users owning a particular key to get or alter the saved information.

A significant hospital at South Korea's capital city of Seoul declared plans a month to establish a blockchain-based platform which intends to boost its health services. The project dubbed “Smart Hospital” was jointly designed by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT and the Seoul Medical Center, will supposedly enhance data accuracy and decrease processing time for the hospital.
