Survey reveals Less than 3% of American Retirees own BTC, While 33% doesn't have Idea what it is

According to Gold IRA Guide retirees aren't famous for being significant risk takers, when it comes down for their own investment portfolios.

‘In fact, quite the opposite is true with their age bracket. This is why it should not come as a huge surprise that they look at Bitcoin and the other major cryptocurrencies with a skeptical eye.'

Gold IRA Guide ran a Survey inquiring 1,000 American retirees more than 50 years old how they'd consider buying the world's number one cryptocurrency.

The Survey shows that 56.7percent of those US retirees understand of Bitcoin, but don't have any interest to spend, while near 33% claim they don't have any clue what Bitcoin is.

Less than 3 percent of states that they own some amount Of BTC, while 3.4% stated they would love to put money into Bitcoin, but didn't understand how to.

4.3percent of US retirees said they'd invest in Bitcoin, but probably at a subsequent moment.

Gold IRA Guide rightfully points out that the Bitcoin community has some work to do so as to teach neighbors since this crowd reflects some low hanging fruit to your Bitcoin community to go after.

‘Retirees are always interested in alternative assets that can help diversify their portfolio against market fluctuations. The IRS approving cryptocurrency IRAs is an indication that retirees are increasingly interested in including some cryptocurrencies in their retirement accounts', the survey states.

Their Conclusion: Retirees and younger investors alike ought to seriously consider long-term investing in cryptocurrencies.
